അതേസമയം മണ്ഡലത്തില്‍ ബിജെപിയും യുഡിഎഫും തമ്മിലുണ്ടാക്കിയ രഹസ്യധാരണയുടെ തെളിവാണ് പതാക വിലക്കിയ സംഭവമെന്ന് എല്‍ഡിഎഫ് ആരോപിച്ചു.
മാനന്തവാടിക്ക് പുറമേ സുല്‍ത്താന്‍ ബത്തേരിയിലും രാഹുല്‍ഗാന്ധിയുടെ റോഡ് ഷോ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു. നേരത്തെ ലോക്സഭ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് സമയത്ത് രാഹുലിന്‍റെ റോഡ് ഷോയില്‍ ലീഗ് പതാക ഉപയോഗിച്ചത് ദേശിയ തലത്തില്‍ തന്നെ വലിയ വിവാദമായിരുന്നു. രാഹുലിന്‍റെ റാലിയില്‍ 'പാകിസ്താന്‍ പതാക' എന്നതായിരുന്നു ബിജെപിയുടെ പ്രചരണം.
